“Michaela Brake is born and bred in Taranaki where her and her 3 brothers grew up on a dairy farm. Her passion for sport started at 5 years old when she started playing rugby for her local club Clifton and athletics. Michaela is an experienced member of the New Zealand Womens 7s rugby team having been in the squad since 2012. She has over 200 caps for New Zealand since making her debut at 17 years old in 2013. Michaela has been a part of 7 World Series Championship wins while also having a Gold and Bronze Commonwealth Games medal, Gold and Silver World Cup medals and 2 Olympic Gold Medals from Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. Michaela has also won World Rugby 7s Player of the year in 2017 and 2018 being the first female player to go back to back with those awards. Michaela‘s goal is to continue enjoying her rugby for as long as she can before she hopes to venture in the world of Sky Sport NZ or the Police after she retires. Her husband Michael Brake is also an Olympic Gold medallist from Tokyo in the rowing 8 mens crew and together they have a dog named Honey.”

What activities and sessions are included in the ticket price?
Your ticket grants access to all fitness classes, workshops, meditation and breathwork sessions, and wellness seminars throughout the day.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat or equipment?
Yes, please bring a yoga mat and any other personal items for your comfort. We’ll have some equipment available, but it’s best to come prepared!
What is the dress code?
Wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing suitable for both workouts and relaxation sessions. Don’t forget layers if you plan to stay for the evening activities!
Are meals and refreshments provided?
A variety of healthy food and beverage options will be available for purchase from local vendors. Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
Is this event suitable for children?
This event is R18, as alcohol will be available on-site. Attendees must be 18 years or older to participate.
What if I can’t stay the entire day?
No worries! You’re welcome to come and go as you please. We’ll provide an event schedule so you can plan to attend the sessions you’re most interested in.
Can beginners join the workouts and wellness sessions?
Absolutely! All sessions are designed to accommodate all levels, from beginners to experienced wellness enthusiasts. Instructors will guide you through modifications as needed.
Are tickets refundable if I can’t attend?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you’re unable to attend, feel free to pass your ticket along to someone who’d love the experience!
