Sounds early doesn’t it? But what if by joining the 5am club you knew you were easily buying 2 hours of time just for you.
Time to do all those things you know you should do to be happier and healthier, but just seem not to? (I appreciate sleep is as important).
Legendary leadership and elite performance expert Robin Sharma introduced The 5am Club concept over twenty years ago, based on a revolutionary morning routine that has helped people maximise productivity, activate their best health and bulletproof their serenity in this age of overwhelming complexity.
If it seems quite daunting, this week why don’t you try just half an hour earlier? So from 7am to 6.30am – every day. Then the next week try another half an hour backwards. If half an hour seems like a lot you can even try 15 minutes.
Set yourself something that’s just for you, for your mind, body and soul growth. If you can, journal how you feel, and give yourself some positive recognition in your mind or in the mirror (you did so well today Charlie, I am so proud of you!) this is how you can create a positive neurological pathway for those days you don’t feel like it (we all have them, particularly NZ winter!).
From there you can start to habit stack, and honestly that’s all life growth is about – is finding something you love, adding it in then adding another something on top of it, before you know it you’ll be n 4.50am’s with me, Lemon Juice, Celery, reading, gym, sauna then the rewards – really great coffee.
Whatever you believe you can achieve, you can – I know it 🙂
